The 48V lithium battery platform is the most widely adopted voltage standard for light electric vehicles — powering golf carts, electric tricycles, small patrol vehicles, floor scrubbers, and mobility scooters. At 48V, the system balances motor power with electrical safety, staying below the 60V DC threshold that triggers more stringent high-voltage regulations in most jurisdictions.

• Capacity range — 20Ah through 200Ah, covering everything from leisure tricycles (20–30Ah) to full-size golf carts and cargo trikes (100–160Ah)

• Cell configuration — 16S LiFePO4 (51.2V nominal) or 15S NMC; prismatic cells for high-capacity packs, cylindrical for compact designs

• BMS features — 16-cell active balancing, Bluetooth SOC monitoring via smartphone app, CAN/RS485 communication for vehicle integration

• Discharge performance — up to 100A continuous (sufficient for 3–5 kW motors); 200A peak for hill starts

• Charging — compatible with standard 48V lithium chargers; 4–6 hour full charge typical; opportunity charging without memory effect
